About us

The Agenzia dell’Abitare is a free housing advice service for tenants and landlords in the Venice Metropolitan Area (Venice, Marcon, and Quarto d’Altino). It is run by the City of Venice in partnership with Città Solare, La Cordata, Dar Casa, and LabIns.

The Agency acts to bridge the gap between home seekers and housing providers by:

• Supporting landlords in choosing the most suitable lease agreement and tax regime (such as regulated rent), applying for incentives, and managing tenant selection and mediation.
• Assisting tenants in finding and maintaining stable housing, navigating available market options, and applying for rental assistance grants.
• Promoting a new culture of housing alongside local welfare services to create lasting benefits for the entire community.

The project is delivered as part of the Housing Agency and Temporary Accommodation Services, co-funded by the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus (PN Metro Plus and Southern Medium-Sized Cities 2021–2027).
