The Agenzia dell’Abitare is a free service for residents in the Venice Metropolitan Area (Venice, Marcon, and Quarto d’Altino). We help you find a home, maintain your tenancy, and access rental support through personalized guidance, mediation, and advice.

We operate two helpdesks in Mestre and Venice – open for walk-ins or by appointment.

Personalised support

We assess your current needs and guide you every step of the way: from searching for a property to signing a regulated lease (canone concordato)

Legal and tax support

We assist you with lease regulations and all housing-related administrative procedures.

Grants and Housing Support

We guide you through available funding and incentive programs, helping you apply for public financial aid.

Advice and mediation

We facilitate communication between tenants, landlords, and the local community - offering support in cases of unavoidable rent arrears - and help you manage your housing budget.
